Privacy Policy
AxonStellar LLC — Æxyr Platform
Effective: June 1, 2026Summary: Æxyr is a self-hosted platform that runs entirely on your infrastructure. AxonStellar does not collect, access, or transmit any data from your instance. This policy covers two scopes: our public storefront (where we collect limited purchase data) and the self-hosted product (where all data stays local).
1. Introduction & Scope
At AxonStellar LLC (“AxonStellar,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), we are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your data. This Privacy Policy covers two distinct contexts:
- Storefront & Websites: Our public-facing websites and storefront, where we collect limited information to process purchases and provide support.
- Self-Hosted Product: The Æxyr platform itself, which runs entirely on your own infrastructure and does not transmit data to AxonStellar.
2. Definitions
- “Personal Data” — Information that identifies you (name, email, payment details).
- “Service Data” — All data created within your self-hosted Æxyr instance (projects, files, configurations, chat history). This data resides exclusively on your infrastructure and is never transmitted to AxonStellar.
- “Storefront” — The AxonStellar website used for browsing, purchasing, and license management.
3. Information We Collect
Storefront & Purchase Data: When you visit our websites or purchase a license, we may collect:
- Email address (for license delivery and support)
- Payment information (processed by Paddle; we do not store card details)
- License activation data (license key and anonymous install ID during one-time activation)
- Support correspondence (if you contact us)
Self-Hosted Æxyr Platform: AxonStellar does not collect, receive, access, or transmit any data from your self-hosted instance. No telemetry, analytics, usage data, or diagnostics are collected or transmitted to AxonStellar. The only outbound connection to AxonStellar is a one-time license activation request containing your license key and an anonymous install ID.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the limited information we collect through our storefront to:
- Process and fulfill license purchases
- Deliver license keys via email
- Verify license activation requests
- Respond to support inquiries
- Comply with legal and tax obligations
- Protect against fraud and abuse
We do not have access to your Service Data. We do not use any customer data to train AI models or improve our products.
5. AI Processing & Automated Decision-Making
The Æxyr platform uses artificial intelligence — including large language models (LLMs) — to process your instructions and perform tasks. All AI processing occurs entirely within your self-hosted Docker container.
Your API keys (e.g., OpenRouter) are stored locally on your instance and used to communicate directly with third-party LLM providers. AxonStellar does not act as an intermediary, does not proxy these requests, and has no access to your API keys or the content of your interactions.
6. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Payment Processing: Paddle (our payment processor and Merchant of Record) processes your payment information. See Paddle’s Privacy Policy.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, or legal process.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice to affected users.
7. Cookies & Tracking
Storefront: Our websites use strictly necessary cookies to operate (session management, security). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Self-Hosted Platform: Æxyr uses local session cookies within your browser to maintain your authenticated session. These cookies never leave your local network and are not accessible to AxonStellar.
8. International Data Transfers
AxonStellar LLC is based in the United States. If you purchase a license from outside the US, your purchase data (email, payment information processed by Paddle, and license activation data) may be transferred to the United States.
Service Data within your self-hosted Æxyr instance is never transferred to AxonStellar or any third party by the Software.
9. Data Retention
We retain purchase records, license activation data, and support correspondence for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us at [email protected].
Service Data on your self-hosted instance is under your sole control. AxonStellar cannot access, modify, or delete it.
10. Data Security
Storefront: We implement industry-standard measures to protect purchase and license data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and access controls.
Self-Hosted Platform: Æxyr includes built-in security features (container isolation, encrypted credentials, access controls). You are responsible for securing your host environment, network, and Docker configuration.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including:
- Access: Request a copy of personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data
- Portability: Request your data in a portable format
- Restriction: Request restricted processing of your data
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
12. Children’s Privacy
AxonStellar is not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
13. Third-Party Links & Integrations
The Æxyr platform may connect to third-party services (e.g., OpenRouter, Cloudflare) that you configure. These connections go directly from your self-hosted instance to the third-party provider — AxonStellar is not an intermediary. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may also notify you via email.
